JOB DESCRIPTION

Keating Law Offices seeks an Illinois personal injury attorney with experience handling all phases of personal injury cases. This includes pleadings stage, written and oral discovery (depositions), legal research and legal writing. The firm is interested in interviewing candidates within a wide range of experience levels as the firm is more interested in finding the right "fit" than finding a specific experience level. The ideal candidates will have 3-10 years of experience in civil litigation in Illinois. 

While direct experience in the field of Personal Injury & Wrongful Death litigation is highly valued, the firm may consider candidates who are recent graduates and possess exceptional work and academic experience and show promise.

This is a supervised position with the shared goal of the attorney growing into a more experienced and skilled trial attorney. The firm provides 100% paid for Continuing Legal Education through the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the National Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. This includes all-expense paid trips to local and national conventions.

COMPENSATION

Associates maximizing their overall income is a shared goal of the firm. Direct Compensation is made up of Base Salary and Bonuses. The Base Salary alone is $100,000 - $200,000 for licensed attorney with experience. The salary range varies based on level of experience but in any situation is a very competitive base salary. Bonuses are in addition to the salary and are derived by a percentage of revenue generated from the attorney's files and a year end bonus based on the firm overall. Fee sharing agreements at the firm are extremely competitive. In total, the firm's compensation plan is extremely competitive.

In addition to salary and bonuses, Keating Law also offers Morgan Stanley Profit Sharing and retirement accounts to the firm's members.

The firm also provides BCBS PPO health insurance, dental insurance, and reimbursement for job related fees.

The firm operates on a hybrid model where employees work from home and in the offices. Work/Life balance is an actual experience at Keating Law.

QUALIFICATIONS

Direct Experience in Personal Injury/Wrongful Death Litigation
Licensed to Practice in State of Illinois
Law Degree from Reputable Law School
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong legal knowledge
Commitment to representing clients
