Position Description

As part of the FundOps team (for Middle/Back office Technology Operations, you will work very closely with business users, various other teams for day to day delivery and operations.

In this role, you will be responsible to delivery change throughout the entire software delivery cycle, from requirement inception all the way to production rollout. As part of Support model, on a rotation basis, you will also be required to work with team to resolve production issues with minimal supervision.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

1. End to end delivery of software changes, from requirement inception to production rollout.
2. Rotation to perform production support tasks, including but not limited to:
3. Monitoring production environment and act on production incidents
4. Work on Service Request Fulfillment, Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management.
5. Manage weekend events like software releases, BCP testing, exchange rehearsal etc.
6. Status reporting on Health Checks, Changes, Incidents, Capacity and Performance.
7. Documentation of Application Knowledgebase, Process.
8. Make monitoring tool changes aligned with changing requirements or gaps observed/reported.
9. Proactively highlight risk any risks observed and suggest ways to mitigate impact.
10. Suggest new ideas for Automation and be able to implement automation ideas.
11. Working/Driving on the TechOps Driven project to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

1. Computer Science or equivalent bachelor degree, or higher
2. 10+ years Support experience in an Investment Banking or Financial Domain, including 8+ years in managing multiple applications (in-house developed & vendor based applications)
3. Be proficient inat least one of these common programming languages: Java, Python, Shell scripting, PowerShell
4. Strong in SQL, Linux, Scripting using Bash / Ksh.
5. Familiar with DevOps stacks like Git, Bamboo, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
6. Strong understanding in entire software lifecycle, from development to production support
7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Strong desire to learn new technologies and equities trading workflow, Open-minded to adopt and propose best practice.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Chinese proficieny will be a plus
10. Knowledge of Trade processing and domain
11. Experience in production support practice like incident communication / incident management / change management
12. Experience in managing applications for equities middle / back office.
13. Experience in Microsoft platforms (e.g. Windows Server, .NET, MS SQL, BizTalk)
